Southern Vermont Orchards Ablaze in Color

Posted on: October 10th, 2013 by Patti Eddington

Southern Vermont Orchards is one of my favorite fall drives.

Since mid-September I have been sending my guests from the inn for a wonderful fall foliage drive not far from the Eddington House Inn.

This scenic drive begins by traversing our 3 covered bridges on to beautiful tree lined¬† Monument Avenue in Old Bennington Village, up Mt Anthony to the Everett Mansion at Southern Vermont College and then finally to experience the views and color at Southern Vermont Orchards.¬† With Mt Anthony as it’s backdrop, Southern Vermont Orchards offers great color, acres of apple trees laden with ruby colored apples and a panoramic view.

This orchard is special place in the fall, in the spring when the apple blossoms are in bloom and also in the summer with a clear view of the valley and a blend of beautiful greens. Hope you’ll visit soon.
