Suzie’s room has a new look!
We have painted, added new furniture and fabrics in Suzie’s room. You’ll enjoy that same uncluttered feel that you experience throughout the house…that hasn’t changed. Lounge in the comfy new chair next to the fireplace this winter. We have added a spring bird motif comforter and shams. I just love the way Suzie’s room looks out over the Green Mountains. The bath remains the same with the great clawfoot tub with its mountain views.
Don’t forget the Village Nook with its twin bed, desk and window seat…perfect for families visiting Bennington College. This room combination is also used a great deal for Girl’s Getaway Packages….for old friends or mom’s and daughters who want to enjoy some time together but not sleep in the same bed.

Southern Vermont is a beautiful place for a destination wedding or honeymoon.
Our North Bennington Village bed and breakfast has been the destination of several newly married couples this week. Arriving late last evening, newly weds from Virginia have chosen to spend a few days in Bennington at the beginning of their honeymoon. They ventured out after breakfast at the inn and are off for a day of exploring Southern Vermont. They will begin with a driving tour of our three covered bridges into Old Bennington and then will drive Carpenter Hill to catch the fabulous views of Old Bennington Village and the Green Mountain range from Southern Vermont Orchards. Should be breathtaking as the apple trees are in bloom!
Over the weekend, the Eddington House Bed and Breakfast hosted two young “lovebirds” who escaped the hectic lifestyle in New York and chose a Vermont wedding & honeymoon. They had planned some hiking in the Green Mountains and fabulous Vermont views as part of their honeymoon experience.
If you are thinking of a destination wedding in the Bennington area of Southern Vermont, you will find invaluable assistance from Tim Corcoran and his staff at the Bennington Town Clerk’s office. The Eddington House Inn will be happy to help as well with suggested wedding sites, photo “ops”, flowers, food and of course great accommodations in our historic Vermont bed and breakfast.
